This is a series of small climbing areas across I-80 in Nevada. Rock varies from limestone to quartzite to volcanic. Most of these areas are small and can be chossy. Objective hazards include but aren't limited to rattlesnakes, broken glass, black widows and loose rock.
None of these places are all that great on the 'grand scale' of bouldering, but each is a decent diversion if you are driving through. Ratings and descriptions may or may not accurately reflect what "you" are used to... low expectations or perhaps better yet, none, may be the best approach for those new to "outback" bouldering.
Please note that all these areas are really spread out and that the marker on the map simply points to the middle of our overview map.
